This is a reminder of the workshop "NS Merger Training Workshop - Electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational wave sources data training" that will take place at the Centro Residenziale Universitario di Bertinoro, Italy on November 12-16, 2018.
Dates: Monday, November 12 - Friday 16, 2018
Venue: Centro Residenziale Universitario di Bertinoro, Italy
Organizers: S. Piranomonte, A. Melandri (main organizers, INAF OAR and INAF OAB)
LOC: S. Piranomonte, A. Melandri
This training workshop is supported by the PHAROS COST Action (http://www.cost.eu/COST_Actions/ca/CA16214) within working group 3 "Gravitational wave signals in neutron stars" and working group 5 "Neutron star magnetospheres, acceleration mechanisms, environment and jets". The meeting is also supported by INAF (Italian National Institute of Astrophysics, http://www.inaf.it/en) and the University Residential Center of Bertinoro (http://www.ceub.it/?lang=en).
We updated the web-site with the tutorial descriptions and the workshop program.

Workshop scientific aim:
This workshop is thought to bring together researchers interested in dealing with the search of the electromagnetic counterparts data of GW sources and world leading experts in the field in an environment fostering interactions and exchange of ideas. The goals of the workshop are to give the interested researchers the chance to gain hands-on experience on data reduction tools for different electromagnetic instruments, to merge a broad range of topics in gravitational astronomy both from theoretical and observational point of view and to encourage post-docs and early career researchers to acquire expertise in the fascinating field of multi-messenger astrophysics emphasizing its multidisciplinary nature.
September 14, 2018: early registration
October 31, 2018: late registration
We look forward to see many of you in Bertinoro!
