We invite applications for one postdoctoral research position funded by the ERC Consolidator Grant DEMOBLACK led by Prof. Michela Mapelli. The DEMOBLACK team studies stellar binary black holes in the field and in star clusters, by means of population synthesis and dynamical simulations.
We particularly invite applications from candidates with experience in the development of direct N-body codes (e.g. NBODY6 or similar codes) and/or binary population synthesis codes.
The successful candidate will join an active research team, working in the vibrant research environment of the University of Padova. Enquiries about the scientific project can be addressed to Michela Mapelli: firstname.lastname@example.org
More details about the research group can be found at https://web.oapd.inaf.it/mapelli/group.html
