I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Pisa under the supervision of Prof. Walter Del Pozzo.
I obtained my Master's degree with honours in Pisa in 2020 defending a thesis entitled “Inference of cosmological parameters from gravitational wave observations”.
My research interests mainly focus on the analysis of gravitational waves from compact binary coalescences. In particular:
- Inference of cosmological parameters using gravitational wave observations;
- Population properties of binary black hole systems using non-parametric models (Hierarchy of DPGMMs, or (H)DPGMM);
- Parameter estimation and model selection via non-parametric methods.
In collaboration with Prof. Walter Del Pozzo, we are actually exploring the possible applications of (H)DPGMM in astrophysics and gravitational waves.
