The Gravity Group at Técnico (GRIT), part of the Center for Astrophysics
and Gravitation (CENTRA), Lisbon, invites applications for a FCT-funded
5-year research position in Gravitational Physics (any aspect of it).

A tentative date for the appointment is Jan 1 2020 (with possible
variations to be agreed upon with the successful applicant). All
candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Physics.


The GRIT group is the largest group in the country working on
gravitational physics, and has strong connections with the gravity
groups in Cambridge, Johns Hopkins, Osaka, Rome, SISSA and Perimeter
Institute. The group holds a European Research Council Grant and is
currently chairing the COST Action GWVerse. The applicant is expected to
contribute to the efforts of the group and to the training of students.
